It’s time for your half-time review!
June just ended. How did you do in the first half of 2022?
Were you able to hit your business goals? How about your personal targets?
If your answers to those questions are yes, then good job! Keep going on that path, while at the same time finding ways to improve and get to your destination faster.
If not, then don’t fret. This is the best time to take it slow, evaluate the current situation, and plan out what to do in the next half.
As Lou Holtz, a former American football player, coach and analyst, puts it:
“How you respond to the challenge in the second half will determine what you become after the game, whether you are a winner or a loser.”
He’s not wrong. In many games, whether it be football or basketball, the team that’s down points in the first half often bounces back in the second half and eventually wins the game.
That’s how you should see this next half of the year.
As this first half of the year closes, it’s wise to do a half-time review so you can make adjustments on your strategy when needed.
Making A Half-Time Review For 2022
One thing that is necessary before you do a half-time review is to prepare for it.
Gather the relevant documents that you need for the review – not just pertaining to the general business but for your team members as well.
It’s also a good thing to schedule the review at least two weeks in advance so you have ample time to prepare for it.
As soon as you are ready to conduct the review, gather your team members. Similar to how you prepared for the start of 2022, make a note of what your answer would be on these four questions:
By now you should understand how critical a half-time review is, you should not allow this week to pass without conducting one for your business.
