Thank you to those of you who participated in the teleclass on Thursday. Everyone shared suggestions and support for each other – it was wonderful! I’m certain everyone came away with at least one great idea or strategy from the call.
The hot topics those on the call wanted to talk about werechildcare, time for self, balance, and support.
We shared many different ideas about childcare options on the call including places to find low cost high quality childcare and other issues with childcare including keeping kids on schedules, dependability, expense, transitioning from work to “mom” at the end of the day, dealing with guilt, and some of the most common frustrations with childcare.
Additionally, we discussed other challenges Real Estate Moms face regarding including eliciting your support network. We shared strategies including being proactive in talking to your spouse/partner, setting agreements all parties can feel comfortable with, and adjusting the plan frequently as needed.
We also shared ideas and examples of ways we find time for ourselves. Our survey had revealed that biggest challenge you face being a Real Estate Mom is finding time for yourselves with78% of you finding it either somewhat difficult or very difficultto find time for yourself.
We will be covering more topics from the Survey in an upcoming teleclass, date and time to be announced soon. Let me know what other areas would be of most concern for future teleclasses.
